A day off
Sometimes we need to reenergise, refocus or just unwind.
It might sound a wee bit melancholic, but the same old same old can get you down.
Holidays are a great time to catch up with family, friends and acquaintances and make you realise what it’s all about.
Don’t waste these precious opportunities.
Make them count.
I have been a bit sporadic with my blogging over the past week or so. No reason save that I have been enjoying other things – not that blogging isn’t important to me but unlike Seth Godin and Chris Brogan, I haven’t been able to think that far ahead (perhaps) to cover all the bases or lined up a slew of guest bloggers to cover things in my absence. There’s always next time.
I am, as ever, committed to the EXCELLENCE faith that has sustained me for a long time, and whilst my focus has been legal practice, I do see the same problems and opportunities in other sectors and don’t be surprised if I weave in a few other areas (professional practice remaining my primary focus) over the coming months.
I fell in love with social media, or may be it grabbed me when I wasn’t looking. Either way, I believe with all my heart that it is here to stay and will form a larger part of every businesses enterprise in the months and years to come. It will gain centre stage and not stay as another sales aid, which is how I perceive it right now.
Anyhow, I hope you have enjoyed these few days off and are fully recharged ready for the cut and thrust of the next few months.
I am up for the challenge and look forward to expanding my opportunities, circle of friends and building my business in a way that gives me and my family the future that I crave.
