A changeless life

South Brent, Devon

In this modern age, it’s counterintuitive to suggest stasis as a way of being.

But, imagine a life where we didn’t have to go anywhere, get anything or become anything.

You might think this a life of lack.

But is it? (Perhaps we should learn to relax into our presence, and accept that we are already whole.)

The issue for us all is that our egoic mind couldn’t handle life without purpose, motion or aim. It wants us to be doing or thinking, always.

But are you your mind?

Perhaps you should contemplate this question:

Stay silent

Living a changeless life may appear out of step with our go-getter world, but my belief is that it’s far more likely to lead to true happiness than any amount of material wealth or attachment.
