“Tenderness and kindness are not signs of weakness and despair, but manifestations of strength and resolution.”
― Kahlil Gibran
You are one.
We are many.
Imagine a world then where, every day, we not only did something random in kindness to others, but we gave back, lifted up and gave our time to others: “how can I help you today?”
The fact is, like it or not, we’re an individualistic society, and it’s only getting worse. Making ‘dents’ are all very good, but, in the end, they count for nothing if you’re unwilling to help others without reward, and to covet some sort of ego trip.
Kindness is kindness. It should never be seen as anything other than what it is.
There’s no give to get.
There’s only giving.
One last thing. It’s deeds not words that count!
