The end of our days

Thank you, life.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be here, to be me and to live — even for a brief moment.

We know it: we’re lucky to be alive, but seldom do we celebrate the fact. It’s almost as if everything is a given.

It’s not.

And we don’t need to look far to understand that.

Perhaps you have to live a while to appreciate life, but when you look back over the past few years, you realise how much you’ve done, even if it doesn’t feel you’ve gone very far.

Of course, at some stage, it will end.

No more days…

But in the meantime, if it’s possible, stay greedy for what (your) life has to offer no matter the circumstances.

At least that’s what I intend to do.

Deep bows.
