Ignore change (for 2014) – Julian Summerhayes

“If your mind is empty, it is always ready for anything, it is open to everything. In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities, but in the expert’s mind there are few.”

– Shunryu Suzuki

Blah, blah, blah…

Aim for the stars

Pick a hero – usually one with pots of money behind their name – and copy them down to the last detail

And then what?

The thing is, no matter how hard we try, very few people change who they are or their circumstances.

I’m not suggesting that we give up on life, but why do so many people insist on doling out advice which no one follows?

What if you stopped listening to all this nonsense, and assumed a posture where everything was perfect.

And then… let go.

When I say ‘let go’, I mean: assume nothing; to want nothing; and to be.

I can already feel the tension, but the thing is our minds are programmed always to want the next thing. But what if we gave the mind nothing to feed off?

I dare you not to plan for 2014.

Imagine a world where every day was brand new, filled with abundance and where you never looked forward or back.

It sounds blissful to me.
