It’s not easy to be completely at one.
Then again, the spiritual folk would say that that’s an oxymoron; namely, everything you seek you already are.
Who am I to disagree?
For me, as a homo sapien (mortal, of course), often wrecked on schedule, I too often feel out of sorts with true self. I’m not suggesting it’s a game but if awareness was our deepest sense state, then we shouldn’t feel the need to chase one thing and then another to find, well, if not nirvana a state of bliss.
Am I making sense?
What I’m trying to say is that perhaps there is and never was a steady-state of peace. There are moments — often fleeting — where we feel fully alive to everything but, equally, there are moments of darkness and melancholy.
And what really marks us out as humans is how we stand in that liminal space.
