In-house counsel

I’m a practising solicitor. It pays the bills. I’ve been at it a long time — too long — and I’d dearly like to do something different. Better still to escape the sandbox. Time is marching on. We’ll see.

Blogger

It’s not really a thing. I write a daily post on Substack and I record the occasional monologue.

Coach

It’s early days but I’m beginning to get a few people ask me to help them. To be honest, I’m not sure it’s coaching they need but we’ll see.

Dad

I’ve three amazing girls. All adults now. And I try to help them as much as possible and be there in times of crises.

Reading

It’s a massive thing. I’ve always got at least one book on the go.

Poetry

I’m not ready to call myself a poet. One day perhaps.

Living

I live in Devon, England. I’d dearly like to sell up — Mrs S isn’t having any of it — and go on the road much like Kerouac and many others have done.
